| + | <div class="body "><p>The feisty Frenchwoman, who won the Wimbledon women's singles title on Saturday, had suggested the BBC sports presenter should come and see her dressed up after he caused outrage by making insensitive remarks about her appearance.</p><p>He said on Radio 5 live: "Do you think Bartoli's dad told her when she was little, 'you're never going to be a looker, you'll never be a Sharapova,lunette ray ban, so you have to be scrappy and fight?"</p><p>Bartoli, 28, won the admiration of Centre Court when she won her first grand slam title in a straight-sets victory over 23-year-old Sabine Lisicki that earned her ?1.6 million in prize money.</p><p>She told the French publication Le Parisien: "I invite this journalist to come and see me this evening in a ball gown and heels and,ghd sale, in my opinion, I think he may change his mind."</p><p>She shrugged off Inverdale's comments by saying at a press briefing: "It doesn't matter, honestly.
