Publishing on NexusWiki

Editing any portion of this website, regardless of size, is considered an act of publishing. When submitting your content, your username and IP adress will be recorded as well as the changes you made to this website. For registered users only the username will be displayed publically while the IP adress will be shown for all changes made by anonymous users. Your username or IP adress will be shown on the 'history' page of the edited article, on your 'contributions' page and on the 'Recent Changes' list.

Cookies

NexusWiki sets a unique session cookie for you within your computer each time you visit NexusWiki. This cookie will be deleted automatically after leaving the site or closing your browser. You can disable the use of cookies for this website in your browser configuration, but then you will not be able to login. After you have logged in, additional cookies will be created within your computer to enable you to prevent needing to log in repeatedly while browsing this website and editing its contents. These additional cookies will be deleted, after leaving the site or closing your browser.

While logging in, you can specify to stay logged in for a longer period of time (thirty days). A long-term cookie will be created when choosing this option and will not get deleted before the end of this time period starting the moment you logged in.

Passwords

Access to your personal user account will be restricted by a password of your choice. NexusWiki will under no circumstances reveal this password to any other person nor will it ask you to reveal your password to any other members or administrators. Only the encrypted password may be stored in a database so your original password remains a secret.
