| − | There is a lot of details in the label of a bottle of wine, and if you are not a connoisseur of wine it can be a little overwhelming at first glance. The majority of wine labels are very comparable even though, containing details on the winery where the wine was made, the 'appellation' (the country or region where the grapes that went into the wine were grown), the assortment (the type of grapes the wine was made from) and the vintage (the year when the grapes had been harvested}. The strength / alcohol content of the wine is also displayed on the label.
