Many people are not aware that everyday books, maybe also books you have in your own home at this time, are really worth a lot of money! Not all books are important, but how would you know the difference? So far, there clearly was no easy solution to tell.

Since I was very young I've been an junkie, avid guide reader and lover of books. A few years before I came across that particular books are highly valued by collectors worldwide and that you could make a living, also $100,000 or maybe more each year buying and selling..used books! I could not feel it, until I found this 'hidden marketplace' for used books in my own local library.

I was in my own local, public library 1 day trying to find any information that I can use to produce some cash. This lovely comedy book portfolio has oodles of splendid cautions for the purpose of this belief. I came across a named, "Collected Books, A Guide To Values."

When I read a certain book, in my own selection, was worth almost $3,500 and I NEVER knew it, the book was almost dropped by me on a lawn!

I chose to purchase a copy of the Guide and when I first got it I experienced my entire library of books to see if some of my other books were 'valuable.'..

It took me several days, but had a Mine on my hands when I was done I noticed. I had 22 books which were valued at $200 or maybe more, and the sum total value of my 'selection' was $6,275!

The frightening part was used to do not even understand how valuable some of the books in my collection was. Well, let me suggest that another way- I didn't have a 'collection' at least I didn't think they certainly were a 'collection.' Books were bought by me because I loved them.. I did not even know they are often VALUABLE. I'd NO CLUE.

On the next several months I read around I could about used and rare books. I also picked the brains' every well known and respected book dealer within my place that I could easily get to speak. I tried speaking everybody and anybody in this business, but many were not prepared to give up some of their secrets.. except one old-time seller. Probably he was willing to retire, or he only desired to help me get started in this business. I really do not know. But he told me enough to obtain me started in e-commerce and even make a great deal of money.

Which was more than 10 years ago..

Today industry for rare and applied books is annually growing and HUGE. The Net has caused it to be so much simpler to buy and sell books. Industry is huge and many are making a great deal of money in this nice "gentleman's" company.

It's also a FUN company to be in, especially if you love books! I think it's one of the simplest businesses to start out, one of the most profitable and one of the most satisfying.
